National Grapefruit Month
Did you know that February is National Grapefruit Month? Here in Revere, MA and everywhere else around the country, people will be celebrating the sweet, juicy goodness that is a grapefruit. In celebration, we put together a list of our favorite grapefruit-based recipes to make sure that all of our residents are able to properly celebrate this important holiday. These sweet bars are great to serve at a dinner party at your apartment. To make them you’ll need the following ingredients: whole wheat flour, brown sugar, unsalted butter, eggs, zest of grapefruit, Ruby Red Grapefruit, sugar, a lemon squeeze, baking powder, all-purpose flour, cornstarch, red food coloring, and powdered sugar as a garnish.
Spicy Shrimp and Citrus Salad from Lexi’s Clean Kitchen
For a filling and fresh salad, you need to try this spicy shrimp and citrus salad. You wouldn’t think those flavors go together, but just wait until you give it a try.
